Solemnity of All Saints

Dear Fathers, Friends in Christ,

Revelation 7:2-4, 9-14
 Psalm 24:1bc-2, 3-4ab, 5-6
 Reading 2: 1 John 3:1-3
 Matthew 5:1-12a

On this Solemnity of All Saints, we are reminded of the way so many men and women of every time, place and circumstance have responded to the universal call to holiness. They are our Saints !

We have our favourite Saints too , those whose lives and struggles we can somehow relate to. They have overcome what might otherwise have alienated them from God and have become His special friends and our great advocates.

They are The Communion of Saints who stand with us in solidarity to praise the God of glory.

May these holy friends continue to inspire us and intercede for us, so that one day soon, in the Kingdom, we may, together with them, behold the very face of God!.
