Feria on the Wednesday - Wisdom

Dear Fathers, Brothers, Sisters in Christ,

Genesis 49:2, 8-10
 Psalm 72:1-2, 3-4ab, 7-8, 17
 Matthew 1:1-17

O Wisdom,
 You came forth from the
mouth of the Most High and,
 reaching from beginning to end,
you ordered all things mightily and sweetly.
Come, and teach us the way of prudence.

With the recitation of the first "O Antiphon" we get a real sense of the Church's increasing anticipation for our coming Redeemer.

God's plan is unfolding and the power and authority of God is about to be revealed!

It is a wonderful season where the special grace of God has a great opportunity to impact us as we have been so carefully "primed" to receive it.

Don't let anything worrisome keep you from enjoying the thrilling events that are unfolding: God comes to save us -- God is with us, God delights in us.

Justice shall flourish in His time,
and fullness of peace for ever. (Psalm 72:1)
