The Lord takes delight in His people! (Psalm 149)
To think that the Lord delights in us, is an astonishing thought; and yet, that's what Holy Scripture says!
How, when all the wonders of creation belong to Him, can we delight Him? Yet, we are reminded of some crucial words in the story of creation that say that, God made man in the image of God Himself!
It is a mystery that what we see of man, could possibly be an image of The Creator! Yet, imprinted on the soul of each of us, is the capacity to love God and to delight Him.
To return love for Love, and in the process delight the Creator of all things, that is our privilege!
Let it be our delight!
