Dear Fathers, Friends in Christ,
Luke 6:12-19
Everyone in the crowd sought to touch Him. . . .
And they still do. Jesus' power still emanates from Him. We can feel it when we sit in the presence of the Eucharist. We can feel it when we serve one of our brothers and sisters, and Christ shines out from them.
Touch Him today and feel the healing. Touch Him in reading scripture ~ the Word of God comes forth. Touch Him in the daily miracle of the Eucharist. Touch Him in prayer. Touch Him in helping another.
There are so many ways to reach out and touch Him. And all of them are deeply healing. All of them transform us, remake us more like Him. This is what healing is ~ becoming more like God.
