Our Lady of the Rosary

Dear Fathers, Friends in Christ,

Galatians 1:13-24
 Psalm 139:1b-3, 13-14ab, 14c-15
 Luke 10:38-42

"You are anxious and worried about many things."
(See Luke 10:41)

Life is filled with things that cause us anxiety, concern, dread, fear, or sorrow. We can choose to live in or with these things or we can focus on the one thing necessary. And what better partner for that one thing than our Mother Mary?

As we pray the most holy rosary, we are sitting with a mother who truly understands, a mother who had to endure the fate that all parents dread: to see a child murdered. She knows all about sorrow, anxiety, loneliness, fear, anger, and dread. You name it; she can tell you about it.

But she won't. She will tell you to be calm, to pray, and to go about your life in absolute certainty of help from her and from God.

Pray the Rosary and love God. He is the one thing necessary.
