Feria for the Tuesday

Dear Fathers, Friends in Christ,

Luke 19:1-10

"Zacchaeus, come down quickly. . . ."

Zacchaeus was a man of determination. He knew that in a crowd of people he would never be able to catch even a glimpse of Jesus. But so great was his curiosity, a curiosity undoubtedly provoked by the Holy Spirit, he scouted the route ahead of Jesus and found himself a likely place from which to catch a glimpse.

Do we love Jesus that much? Do we love Him enough to want to catch a glimpse? Do we plan our lives around being able to see Him? To catch a glimpse of Him?

You know, if we are not yet at this stage of love, it is enough to desire it. Asking God to help you love Him is like climbing a sycamore to catch a glimpse. First we see Him, and the next thing you know, He is our guest. God wants this so much from each of us. So, just pray to the Lord to find YOUR sycamore tree along His route.
