Wednesday after the 2nd Sunday in Advent

Dear Fathers, Friends in Christ,

Come to Me all you who labour and are burdened. . . .
(Matthew 11:28)

In order to enter into God's rest, in order to find true peace in an un-tranquil world, we must first respond to the Savior's call: "Come to me."

Too many souls do not hear this call to the human heart, even though it is a beckoning that never ceases. Yet, it is only in and through Jesus that we will find the ultimate rest and fulfillment we seek. He is our rest! His yoke is our passport to shared life with the Holy Trinity and the Blessed in Heaven!

May we enter into this rest that our soul craves. Let us respond to His call and empty our hearts to Him. Let us come to know the love of an almighty God who is meek and humble of heart.we seek. He is our rest! His yoke is our passport to shared life with the Holy Trinity and the Blessed in Heaven!
