Feria on the Wednesday

Dear Fathers, Friends in Christ,

"Let your hearts take comfort, all who hope in the Lord"
(Psalm 31:25)

The psalmist's words of solace above, come after heartfelt cries of anguish, much like those of Job, earlier in the psalm. No matter our suffering or disappointment in life, we have the absolute assurance of God's love and providential care.

He turns sadness into joy. He gives us a comfort that will last forever.
For His faithful ones, every tear shall be wiped away when they see Him face to face. We can have a foretaste of that eternal joy now, in this life, by placing our trust in Him, our Rock, our Security, our Saviour.

"Every Christian looking forward to eternal life after the difficult struggle of this life must be motivated and guided by our blessed hope in Christ Jesus our Lord. The Glorious Mysteries [of the Rosary] are the ultimate celebration of Christian hope."
