In the Octave of the Epiphany

Dear Fathers, Friends in Christ,

1 John 4:11-18
 Psalm 72:1-2, 10, 12-13
 Mark 6:45-52

Lord, every nation on earth will adore You. (Responsorial Psalm)

When it seems like that's an impossibility, it's a sign that should lead us not into despair and incredulity but into the arms of God who can accomplish all things.

It is a sign that begs us to draw closer to Him, the source of real power; to find Him in His Word, in His Sacraments and then let them have their effect.
Increase then Lord our faith, our hope and our loving response so that this "little nation of our heart" and every heart, may one day adore You.
